Описание: Just tried to cover a part of fall color (or Autumn colour) in Washington state. We drove to Leavenworth via US-2, Winthrop and came back via US-20 on 2021, October 23-24. Native trees were at full color near Leavenworth & Winthrop towards end of October. We also visited Gene Coulon park in Renton mid October where there is a street of red trees which was wonderful.

A few tips for Photography:
1. Spot the trees when you go around in Spring. The trees with new leaves (light green) are the trees in color in fall season. Now you know where to go for fall photography.
2. Best fall color photo is when the day is cloudy or light rain. A sunny bright day will not give great colors, many bright spots and dark shadows in terms of photography.
3. In town, many planted trees on both sides of streets, are great photo opportunities.
4. Out of town, most color is displayed by trees on both sides of rivers. So if there is a road by the riverside, then give a try.
5. A landscape photo is different from portrait of people. A tree might be up high when we try to place them as background for portraits. So look for a low tree branch or fallen leaves might be better (or both). We will get a lot fallen leaves just after a rain/windy day.
