Illustrator: How to Scale Type, & Create a Style Effect?

1. File, New, Orientation Landscape

2. Click on Type Tool, Select a Character and Font Size

3. Hold Shift, click on type and drag with mouse to make the type larger. Hold Shift, will make type proportional when scaling

4. Select a Stroke at the top to make type thicker

5. At the top, go to Effect, Stylize, Glowing Edges, and choose an Effect Style, for your type

6. You can also edit the Effect Style Font
