As I stated in my last upload of this song, I wasn't satisfied with it. Some of my lyrics were more like rhythmic blueprints. Didn't feel like they belonged. But it helped me understand the rhythm I was going for in the lyrics. So some lyrics have changed with this version, but most are the same. Also the style of music is much different. The blues-rock style of the last one was neat but felt inconsistent throughout. This time around it's a dark synth-pop style that grows as the song does. But it feels more consistent.
I like this one better and would even go so far as to say I'm satisfied with it. So I can finally move on from it. It's been a bit of an obsession of mine over the past couple of days, so it feels good to be able to close the book on it.
