Welcome back, adventurers—and a big hello if you're tuning in for the first time!
This week, we made our way to Senecaville, Ohio, and spent some time at beautiful Lake Seneca Park. This isn’t your average state campground—far from it! The lake itself is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, but the campground is operated by the state of Ohio, and let’s just say… Ohio knows how to do camping right.
Think luxury campground vibes: spacious concrete pads with full hookups, incredible views, and a surprising number of amenities—including several onsite restaurants. Yep, you read that right—restaurants at the campground.
If this is the standard for Ohio’s other state parks, we’re officially on a mission to explore more!
The weekend was made even better by meeting up with friends, sharing meals, swapping stories, and soaking up the good times at the campsite. All in all, a wonderful weekend we won’t soon forget.
