Myth was once - in some form or another - history. History becomes myth if enough people forget it. Hear from Plato's student Critias, the story of his grandfather Critias, and the wise sage Solon, who visited Egypt and heard the ancient tale of Atlantis and the city which stopped them from ruling the known world!
I believe there was a real Atlantis. Whether or not it was in the Atlantic Ocean, or somewhere else, or a numerous amount of different civilisations and conquerors, history indicates a link between the pre Greek people or Pelasgians, and the Egyptians, and a link between Athena and Neith!
