Back in May I installed the frost free water line in the barn (see the video "Barn Gets a Water Line: Frost Free Hydrant Install") and now I get to re-install the hydrant. My plumbing skills are failing me and because of that I have had to do this job three times. Hopefully, you don't see too much of my frustration in this video. I would encourage people if they are at all interested to see installation video from May. Knowing that these pumps can fail, you'll see in that video how/why I installed it the way I did -- to be able to easily dig out the pump if I had to.
