1986 Honda CR250 and CR500 Motocross Builds!

Описание: In this video, we will be going over my 1986 Honda CR250 and Honda CR500. I found the CR500 off of Craigslist only forty minutes from my house in Arizona. I was fortunate to buy it from a fellow racer, Scott. Scott rebuilt this bike to race in our local series and in California. I have never met Scott until I went to look at this bike. He did an excellent job rebuilding the bike from powdercoating the frame, getting the suspension professionally rebuilt, and spending over $2k on getting the motor rebuilt to racing condition. I added a EBC front disc and new pads, brake and clutch levers that I prefer to run, decompression valve and that is about it. I am in the process of getting an aluminum tank powder coated so I can save the original tank since they are impossible to find. The suspension feels perfect once I set the sag and dialed it in a bit. The motor is wicked strong. Bike feels really neutral and easy to get in and out of the turns.

With the CR250, I cannot say enough good things about it. I purchased two 1986 CR 250's. I rebuilt one with the best/cleanest of the two bike's parts for the collection and the other as my race bike. showroom bike suspension was redone and I have not put fuel in it since the rebuild. Both bikes needed some TLC. I got new foam, seat covers, plastic and number plates done by Anthony Moore (If I need seat foam, seat covers, plastic or graphics I reach out to Anthony first. You can find Anthony on Facebook or request contact information below). Ryan at Factory Edge went through the motor and on my race bike installed the Lectron carb. This bike runs extremely well on the Lectron carb so much so I may get one for the CR 500. Stillwell Performance in Scottsdale, Arizona, did the suspension with gold valves and the suspension is perfect. Paul with PGD builds got the frame powder coated, replaced all the gaskets and seals, new CR High bars, levers, powder coated the hubs and got the wheels built, replaced the front disc and pads with EBC rotors and pads and installed a new Galfer brake line. This CR250 is also running Dunlop MX33 tires, which I love.
