This is a compilation of a few videos I took of the Rosemount HS Marching Band's performances at the 2014 Minnesota State Fair. The videos feature a bit of the "battle of the drumlines prior to the parade, and performances of "Midway March" as they pass directly through the judging area and around me during the parade.
As the reigning MN State Fair MB champion of 2013, the RHS Band had the honor of performing in the State Fair's first day's parade with an estimated 100,000 people in attendance that day.
The weather was rainy in the morning, then it cleared, warmed up and became extremely hot and humid for the performance at 2 pm. The parade route is lengthy, passing through the majority of the State Fair grounds.
