This house was inspired by the fabric swatch on a dining chair from the new Adventure Awaits pack. From that single detail, the whole build came together.

Built on the Prospector’s Paradise lot in Gibby Point (from The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits), this cozy four-bedroom, three-bathroom family home is a true time capsule; filled with all the warm wood tones, dusty blues, and salmon-pink bathrooms that defined the 1990s.

The grandparents renovated the downstairs in the early 90s, back when dusty blues, oak furniture, and salmon-pink bathrooms were the height of style. Upstairs, the older rooms still hold traces of the late 70s and early 80s with floral curtains, wall-to-wall carpet, and mismatched bedding that somehow feels perfect together.

Outside, the backyard is lived-in; with a large pool complete with a diving board and water slide, a sandbox your Sims can actually play in, and swings for the grandkids. And plenty of slightly overgrown greenery to complete that nostalgic feel.

It’s warm, it’s familiar, and it’s exactly the kind of place where your Sims could live for generations. And who knows, maybe the next heir in your save will finally decide it’s time for a full renovation, updating everything to bring the house into a more modern style.
