NOTE ABOUT THE LIGHTING - I didn't realize the lighting would turn out this badly once uploaded to YouTube. My previous video's lighting was great and I used a similar setup. It looked amazing on my iPad while I was editing this video. Additionally, the subtitles which look TERRIBLE on YouTube looked great on my iPad. I spent two days uploading this (50 gig upload) so I'm not going to redo it but I'll fix the lighting for my next video. I'll be sure to test lighting and subtitles before the next video.
This a review of a Ghoulcaller Gisa commander deck for the collectible trading card game "Magic the Gathering". The card printing company makeplayingcards.com's services were used to print nice looking fake cards known as "proxies".
Proxies are often a taboo subject in the magic the gathering community, with arguments on both sides. It's not addressed in this video, but here's an opinion: if everyone you're playing with is cool with it, it's fine. Magic is about hanging out with friends and having a good time!
The availability of this fine service can unlock creative deck-building skills. Not being constrained by the monetary cost of collectible cardboard really lets you make decks any way you'd like. This particular deck cost $38 total (S33 "superior" cardboard), including shipping.
