Residents in Northeast and Central El Paso have been reporting seeing flyers and “water notices” in the wake of a major water main break that has left thousands without service.
An official with El Paso Water said those notices are “not affiliated” with the water utility and are likely a scam to sell you something.
“Any communication from the utility will have the official logo,” the official said in an email sent to KTSM.
