Описание: A nostalgic vanity post for sure. In order from left to right. Keith Baum (Bari), Marty Ward (tenor), Chris Presti, Alto/Soprano, me (Alto/Soprano). We were all between 15-17 years old so the artistry is a tad underdeveloped...BUT...we were still pretty good! The multi talented Jack Kripl was our coach at Interlochen. I remember Kripl coming up every couple of weeks (from the Detroit area) and drilling us non-stop for 4-6 hours as a quartet. I believe that Kripl was one of the last if not the last student that the great French pedagogue, Marcel Mule taught. I think Kripl won the Geneva saxophone competition sometime in the late 60's as well. Anyway our quartet ended up playing for Don Sinta's saxophone class at U of Michigan and Trent Kynaston's class at Western Michigan spring of '76. I think this performance was from a TV spot we did while on tour in Missouri.
