箏と十七絃の二重奏曲。役割分担をするとしたら箏が「ブルー」、十七絃が「ブラック」。箏の透き通った音色が青を表現し、十七絃の深い低音が黒を広げる。そしてその２つがブルーブラックという一つの色を作り上げていく。この色は普通「濃い青」といわれるが、実際は様々な側面を持っている。ブルーとブラックがお互いの存在を示しながら、同時にこの色の多面性を引き出して表現することを考えて作曲。沢田貴葉委嘱作品。

「和楽団『大樹』」は、創価大学箏曲部OBが中心となって結成されたアマチュア和楽器楽団です。日本音楽と箏が大好きな人たちが集まり、楽しくも真剣に演奏に取り組んでいます。
「大樹」という名前は、大地から養分を吸収して成長する大樹のように、多くの曲を研鑽することで、知識、技術そして精神を吸収していきたいという思いが込められています。
日本音楽の美しさが伝わるような堂々とした演奏を目指し、これからも練習に励んでいきます。

17-gen (17-string koto): Shinnichi TAMA

A duet of koto and 17-gen (17-string koto). If the roles are divided, the koto is "blue" and the 17-gen is "black". The clear tone of the koto expresses blue, and the deep bass of the 17-gen spreads black. And those two make up one color called blue black. This color is usually referred to as "dark blue", but in reality it has many aspects. It was composed with the idea that blue and black show each other's existence and at the same time bring out and express the multifacetedness of these colors. A work commissioned by Kiyo Sawada.

Wagakudan "Taijyu" is an amateur Japanese musical instrument group formed mainly by the alumnus of the Koto Club in Soka University. People who love Japanese music and koto are gathering here.
The name "Taijyu"(big old tree) expresses the desire to absorb knowledge, skills and spirit by studying many pieces, like "Taijyu"(big old tree) that grows by absorbing nutrients from the earth.
We will continue to practice, aiming for a dignified performance that conveys the beauty of Japanese music.
