This bedtime story is the twelfth in the '12-days of Christmas sleep stories', related to 'twelve drummers drumming'. This bedtime story for grown-ups is about twelve drummers from villages in enchanted realms around the North Pole. Here in the North Pole, you can hear a humming, pulsing sound which is being projected out to those villages to the drummers in those villages, calling them instinctively to the North Pole with their magical drums. They arrive at the North Pole village which they have felt drawn to. They head to the centre of the village and begin to play, their rhythms synchronising and harmonising, generating pulses of energy. As the drummers continue to drum, they move from the town square, followed by villages, creating a parade through the village, as they harmonise deeper with nature, bathing the world in magic. In the centre of the village, Santa's sleigh appears. The drummers circle the sleigh, drumming as the sleigh begins to fill with stardust, charged with the drumming. Once charged, Santa on the sleigh, launches off in a trail of stardust. The drummers stop drumming and everyone heads home having filled the world with harmony and charged Santa's sleigh so that Santa can bring magic to the World. Once home, they settle down and drift asleep into Slumberland.
