On-farm trials, funded by ADOPT, are aiming to improve commercial apple production in England. The trials will evaluate the combined use of biochar, trichoderma, and mycorrhizae in new apple orchards.
Hopefully, this will cut the time to full production, improve tree resilience, and contribute to the long-term sustainability and carbon footprint reduction of commercial apple production in the country.
