This Suzuki Cappuccino had been absolutely destroyed by not one, but two terrible paint jobs.
Originally red, the car was poorly repainted silver — straight over the red — with overspray on everything from the wheels and tires to the trim. The silver paint was so thin that the red bled through, giving the car a strange red hue from a distance, while up close you could clearly see both layers. Some areas weren’t painted at all, while others looked like they were hit with a single rushed pass.
To make things worse, the original engine had failed at some point and was replaced with a Suzuki G13B, simply because it was cheaper and more readily available. In this video, the G13B is properly rebuilt, and the car is finally restored the right way — including a full repaint back to its OEM metallic red.
This is the full transformation of a Kei sports car that deserved far better.
