Narinder Kaur’s journey as a mother of a special child has been one of immense resilience and unwavering love. Her daughter, Prabhjot Kaur, has been living with cerebral palsy since birth. Now 13 years old, Prabhjot is a 100% special child, completely dependent on her mother for all aspects of life. When doctors handed her over to Narinder, they told her that Prabhjot would never recover. It was a moment of heartbreak, but also a moment that defined Narinder’s mission in life.
As a single mother, Narinder has dedicated herself to being strong, focused, and empathetic. She founded SURTAJ Special Children Foundation not only to support her daughter but also to create a network of support for countless other parents facing similar struggles. Raising Prabhjot is challenging, but Narinder believes she is an angel sent to fulfill a greater purpose.
Through this journey, Narinder has turned her pain into a mission—ensuring that every special child receives the love, care, and opportunities they deserve. Her story is one of determination and hope, showing the world that special children are not burdens, but blessings who teach us the true meaning of unconditional love.
