The Kailash or Kailashnath temple is the largest of the rock-cut Sanatan "Vedic" Dharm's temples at the Ellora Caves in Aurangabad district, Maharashtr State of Sanatan Vedic Rashtr Bharat (India).
It is a megalith carved into a cliff face, it is considered as one of the most remarkable "Vedic" cave temples in the World because of its size, architecture, and sculptural treatment. It has been called as "the climax of the rock-cut phase of ancient Indian Sanatan "Vedic" architecture".
The top of the structure over the sanctuary is 32.6 metres (107 ft) above the level of the court below.
Although the rock face slopes downwards from the rear of the temple to the front, archaeologists believe it was sculpted from a single rock.
It is still an unsolved mystery for our modern science that how was this constructed from top to bottom from a single rock.
Was it possible to create this "Vedic" Civil Engineering masterpiece with just hammer and chisel?
Or our Vedic ancestors knew about laser or some even more advanced technologies?
This is still a mystery!
