Dr Thomas Walker

Описание: In 1750 an expedition was sent to the west to explore lands newly acquired by the Loyal Land Company of Virginia. The leader of this expedition was Dr. Thomas Walker and during his travels he discovered a low gap in the Appalachian Mountains that later became the main gateway to the lands in Kentucky and beyond. Today we tell the story of the good doctor and that gap, which we know as the Cumberland Gap.
