Joel Edgerton is not only taking on the role as a ‘therapist’ at a gay conversion therapy camp, but he also wrote and directed the movie. ‘Boy Erased’ focuses on camps that attempt to convert homosexuality out of children and adults. Working with Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman, Joel hopes that the big names will give the film more clout and bring in a wider audience to a story that needs to be heard.
