Merciful Lord, forgive our failings,
Cleanse our hearts of pride and sin.
Grant us the humility to repent,
And the grace to forgive as You forgive. Amen.

Miserere mei, Domine,
Et dele iniquitatem meam.
Cor mundum crea in me, Deus,
Et spiritum rectum innova in visceribus meis.

Ne projicias me a facie tua,
Et spiritum sanctum tuum ne auferas a me.
Redde mihi laetitiam salutaris tui,
Et spiritu principali confirma me.

Peccatores docebo vias tuas,
Et impii ad te convertentur.
Libera me de sanguinibus, Deus salutis meae,
Et laetabitur lingua mea iustitiam tuam.

Gloria Patri, et Filio,
Et Spiritui Sancto.
Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper,
Et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

English Translation:
Have mercy on me, O Lord,
And blot out my transgressions.
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from Your presence,
And take not Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me with Your guiding Spirit.

Then will I teach sinners Your ways,
And the lost shall return to You.
Deliver me from guilt, O God of my salvation,
And my tongue shall sing of Your righteousness.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
And to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
