Here's a quick run-through of the very new Barber Compact Burn Unit!
I'm just playing through David Barber's recommended settings in the manual, using both single coils & humbuckers.
Over time I'll get the hang of my favourite settings and how they fit my own playing, but I hope this helps you get an idea of the huge tonal range in this small enclosure.
Gear used:
Nash S-57 w/Lollar pickups
Eternal Guitars Custom S w/Hot Rod Pickups PAFs
Chase Tone Secret Preamp (set at unity gain)
Barber Compact Burn Unit
Eventide H9
Line 6 HX Stomp
Recorded direct into Logic, with the Line 6 HX Stomp - set to a clean Matchless tone with a tape delay algorithm; spring reverb provided by the H9 in the loop.
