Shipra river is in spate due to heavy rain in Indore. Temples have submerged on the banks of Shipra in Ujjain. Indore Collector Ashish Singh has declared holiday in all government and private schools of the district on Saturday. Three gates of Tawa Dam have been opened by 5-5 feet on Saturday in Narmadapuram.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in 45 districts of the state today. Out of these, 23 districts are such where heavy rain is expected. Here 4 inches or more of water can fall in 24 hours.
