Before I started working as a trainee corporate lawyer, I had tons of assumptions about what it would be like - money, fast-paced lifestyle, all-nighters, coffee... basically a kinda less sexy version of Suits 🕵

But just how wrong was I?... Is the money really that good, or do I blow my entire salary on rent? Are the hours actually that bad, or do I have somewhat of a work-life balance? Have I had to give up everything I loved doing in my free time (inc. binge-watching Netflix), or do I still have time to see friends and family AND watch cr** TV?

In this video, I hopefully dispel some of the false assumptions you have (that I definitely had before I started working for real) and shed light on what it is REALLY like being a trainee corporate lawyer 🙂
