UAW Stellantis employees will not receive profit sharing checks for 2025, unlike Ford and GM

In a statement sent to WTOL 11, the automaker said the following:

"Following the full-year results announcement, it is clear that 2025 was a very challenging year for Stellantis, reflecting the cost of a profound and necessary business reset to correct past decisions.

"As the North America results did not meet the minimum thresholds defined in the 2023 UAW collective bargaining agreement, there will be no profit sharing paid to UAW-represented employees for 2025. As we move forward, we are confident that the decisive actions the company has already taken to put the customer at the center of everything we do, such as reintroducing the legendary HEMI V8 engines in the Ram 1500, will support profitable growth and put us on a better path for a stronger, more successful 2026."

At Ford Motor Co., UAW-represented hourly workers are expected to receive approximately $6,780 in profit-sharing, based on 2025 performance. That represents about a 34% decline from the $10,208 paid the previous year. The payments are expected in mid-March 2026.

At General Motors, eligible UAW workers are set to receive up to $10,500 in profit-sharing in their Feb. 27, 2026, paychecks. That marks an estimated 28% to 32% decrease from the prior year’s $14,500 payout.

While payouts at Ford and GM are down compared to last year, both companies met the profitability thresholds outlined in their labor agreements, resulting in profit-sharing payments for 2025 performance.
