The Colorado Model Railroad Museum in Greeley, Colorado, USA, is very worth visiting, if you're even in the northeast corner of the Denver metropolitan region. This video shows a very brief overview of most of the layout, which models trackage from Coos Bay, OR into Idaho. This view is from an overhead balcony. The club is set up as a non-profit museum, so all of the "club members" are actually "volunteers", and the museum's board of directors are able to make decisions about club priorities in a more straightforward manner than most model railroad "clubs".
