Rafting on the beautiful Verdon Gorge. Wow what a fantastic experience, one of the highlights of our holiday. We did an afternoon session meeting at the raft premises to get kitted out with a wetsuit, helmet and life jacket.
We were driven a short distance in a minibus to the river where we met our guide and off we went. We were on the water for about 3 hours, every second was fun , exhilarating and varied, the rapids gradually getting bigger as we descended the gorge. There were a couple of optional exercises to learn how to handle the wild water in the event you leave the raft! these were great fun being able to swim in wild water under the safety of the rafting instructors.
We used Raftsession.com as they were the close to our camping at Notre Damn Campsite
