I've discussed WIC's breastfeeding support and supplemental foods in previous videos but in this video, I discuss the other two pillars - the program's nutrition education and referrals to health and social services.

As the premier public health nutrition program, WIC helps improve the nutritional wellbeing of WIC participants through the nutrition education provided. The program also refers participants to other health and social services to ensure that their needs are being met on all fronts.
