Supplies:
a piece of wire,
3 pieces of construction paper in squares: red, yellow, blue
a pair of scissors
some stickers
Art instructions:
1. Fold all three square color construction paper down to a triangle shape.
2. Pick any piece of the paper, cut the folded line and turn it into two triangles.
3. Cut another piece of paper into two halves.
4. You should only cut two.
5. Fold the 4 triangles you just made in halves.
6. You end up with 4 small triangles and 1 big one.
7. Maintaining the fold, cut one triangle with scissors and take trunks out. Make it either a soft shape or a hard shape.
8. Cut another triangle, and make it the opposite (hard or soft) of the first one.
Alexander Calder (July 22 or August 22, 1898 – November 11, 1976) was an American sculptor known as the originator of the mobile, a type of moving sculpture made with delicately balanced or suspended shapes that move in response to touch or air currents.
