One-on-one interview with Alex Mealer, candidate for Harris County judge
Alex Mealer said she plans on cutting crime and slashing county overhead by getting rid of administrative offices and departments created under Hidalgo.
She told us the current administration has failed when it comes to recruiting law enforcement officers. That's something Mealer said she'd do at places like Fort Hood in order to find 1000 new deputies to help combat crime.
