Recently, a SpiceJet passenger claims he was physically assaulted by an Air India Express pilot for objecting to queue-cutting, witnessed by his 7-year-old daughter. The pilot has been removed from duty, and an internal probe is ongoing. The Civil Aviation Ministry has stepped in, grounding the pilot and requesting reports from BCAS and CISF.

These incidents raise urgent questions about the accountability of airlines and airport authorities. As India aims to become a global aviation hub, experts warn these events may reflect deeper systemic issues, rather than isolated cases.
