Most futures traders never look at the options market. That's a blind spot.
Not because options predict price. But because dealer hedging around large options concentrations can shape how price behaves intraday. Whether a session compresses and chops, or expands and trends, is often influenced by where gamma exposure is sitting before the open.
In this video I break down how I use gamma exposure as a context layer in my trading stack. What positive and negative gamma environments actually mean for intraday behavior, where the key levels are and how to read them, and why this is an environmental filter, not a signal system.
It doesn't replace structure, location, or orderflow. It just helps me understand what kind of session I'm likely walking into before price ever starts moving.
The platform I use for this is Tanuki Trade (code NEVERFLAT)
