Prithviraj Sukumaran (born 16 October 1982) is an Indian film actor, film producer, and playback singer best known for his work in Malayalam cinema.He has also acted in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films.In a career spanning over a decade, Prithviraj has appeared in more than 90 films.
The son of actors Sukumaran and Mallika, Prithviraj was first spotted by director Fazil. Fazil's screen test of Prithviraj prompted director Ranjith to cast him in Nandanam, a romance film, making his debut a 2002.He has co-produced films under the production house, August Cinema, and ended his partnership in 2017.He has won two Kerala State Film Awards for Best Actor, one Tamil Nadu State Award, and a National Film Award (as producer).
