How to properly drain the oil of your electric bar cutter?

In our video today, we will share how to properly drain the oil of your electric rebar cutters. After heavy and long usage, the oil in your electric bar cutters are bound to thicken and get sticky. It may also have build ups of mud and dirt. This is why we highly recommend our clients to drain their rebar cutters annually. This video can be applied for machine operators of our TYC-D35 (32mm electric rebar cutter) and TYC-HD42A (42mm electric rebar cutter).

You will be needing a funnel, bucket and an allen wrench that is 10mm in size. The funnel must be aligned to the location of the drain plug where the oil will gush. Simply insert the allen wrench into the drain plug and gently rotate in a counter clock-wise direction until the drain plug is completely removed. Once the oil plug has been removed, the oil will immediately start to gush out.

Wait until the oil has been fully drained from the machine. In our next video, we will share how to properly seal the drain plug before inserting it back into the machine.
