Starting in 1956, three sophomores interested in starting a dance line approached a family friend who was a professional choreographer. The Parkettes were born, spanning three decades of dancing at the high school, with some of those years cheerleading for the Minnesota Vikings.
Assistant Superintendent Dr. Quennel Cooper spoke with a few members of the Parkettes, having recently been featured on WCCO & CBS. Their story is one of dedication, good times and sisterhood! Check it out! 🧡
