Not all people with cancer will have pain. However, controlling any pain that you may have is an important part of your cancer care.
This video will provide you with information about possible causes for cancer pain and offer ways that may help you manage your pain. You will learn how to help your doctor understand how you are feeling by describing your pain as clearly as possible. Your pain management plan may include: medicine, physical therapy or exercise, nerve blocks or TENS, heat, cold packs, massage, acupuncture, biofeedback, relaxation, imagery or distraction. Pain medicine safety tips are also shared.
