The thing didn't have any diffuser or guard attached to it (though it's above a grid ceiling)
Wonder if it's another one of those KDK/Panasonic ventilation fans or something else
In Hong Kong, virtually every single elevator has fresh-air fan. I believe this is possibly a requirement. It was even a culture shock to me when I went to places like Korea and noticing how elevators there don't have fans and felt stuffy to me. Also didn't realize that in the US, elevators sometimes have fans installed in the exhaust, not intake position.
About 12" (30cm) in diameter.
