There was a huge update in Gold Rush The Game this week, adding some new equipment, new game mechanics to do some prospecting with the drill, a replacement for the shaker deck, and moving to "Season 2" in the game. Unfortunately the scope of this update means we'll have to start back again at square one with our mining operation, but we'll get access to a few new toys. There's also a DLC update expected in January that will add a bunch of new equipment as well!
