There is a ton of information out there, including my own Honda CRF250L review, about the stats and specs of the motorcycle, but those resources don't tell the whole story of this awesome off road motorcycle.

Whether you're looking to buy a new 2020 Honda CRF250L or Honda CRF250L Rally or more interested in picking up a used 2019 CRF250L or older in the used market, it's important to consider these five factors that really don't become obvious until you've owned and ridden the bike for an extended period of time as I have.

The suspension on the 250L is notoriously squishy, and as an owner I have to confirm that its reputation is well-deserved. Not everything is bad, though. This dual sport bike will constantly surprise you with its capability and the way it slowly but surely conquers even difficult obstacles and terrain. The bike is surprisingly capable on the road as well as in the woods, and anyone who owns it will tell you that it's one of the most charming motorcycles out there, particularly for a beginner dual sport rider. Test ride one and you'll see what I mean.
