Horse leading - Free lunging - Video response to Rick Gore question - B&F Horsemanship

Описание: This is meant as a response to one of Rick Gore's videos where his battery died before he could get to answering this one woman's question and asked his viewers to answer it for him. As I had been asked to do another video anyway, I made this one.

Please excuse the following faux pas: The word I couldn't find was "yield", and of course you hit the horse on his or her "chest", not "breast", *lol*.
You can clearly see that Desierto is my husband's horse, and my husband is the one that handles him most of the time. This is why I wanted to show the leading stuff with him, because I knew he was gonna act out and makes it easier to explain instead of showing it with Chicilla, when everyone would say: "Well, this horse doesn't give any troubles leading, so how should this apply to a difficult horse?" Also you can clearly see that Chicilla is the high horse towards him and she can't stand it that I'm ignoring her and paying more attention to Desierto rather than her :-). So you also get to see a jealous high horse trying to get in between "her" human and a lower horse :)

Yeah, and one other thing: This being the 31st of December, people are shooting firecrackers and other noisy stuff already - I couldnt hear it at first, but the horses did so before we did... Stupid people... :-)

And I have to add one other thing: My hubby thinks I was using him as a bad example because I said he loved Desierto very much, almost too much and therefore being inconsistent. But I do point out that their communication has grown a lot and they in fact work better together than I do with Desierto. And you can see that at the beginning of the video, where Desierto does what he's asked to do quite nicely. So I hope this comes across as I intended it to ;-)
