Описание: Central Florida Entertainment Advocacy (CFEA) is rooted in our Central Florida's Theatre, Arts and Entertainment Industry. It is a platform where Central Florida Artists join together to raise awareness for equity and justice in the entertainment industry. They strive to build an anti-racist and more equitable artistic community in Central Florida. CFEA is intended for ALL who work in theatre, entertainment, and the arts. They seek to foster a cohesive community dedicated to the work of making the industry in our region more just. They aim to work together to outline clear expectations for growth and advancement, as well as establish definitive measures for action and accountability. CFEA just recently celebrated KUUMBA! Kuumba means creativity in Swahili and that is the focus of CFEA's new talent development workshop and showcase. The organization made a call to all singers, actors, and dancers to be a part of this program designed to sharpen their skills and get them in front of the people who need to know about their creative artistry. This was also an opportunity for Casting and Directing Apprentices. All local and regional casting directors, artistic directors, agents, and entertainment companies of color were invited to participate. The first iteration of this event was held at Alianza Center on Monday, June 28th, and it was a success.
