This is the mantra of Black Tārā (Dolma Nakmo), the fierce and protective aspect of the goddess Tārā in Tibetan Buddhism. Black Tārā represents the void-like energy of ultimate compassion that destroys ignorance, negativity, and energetic interference. She embodies the power to dissolve obstacles and transform darkness into awareness.

This mantra invokes Tārā as the universal protector who shields practitioners from spiritual and psychic harm. The syllables carry vibrational power said to purify fear, dissolve karmic blocks, and stabilize energy during deep meditation or transformation.

Tāre – She who liberates from suffering

Tuttāre – She who removes fears and obstacles

Ture – She who grants swift awakening
