Hello everyone, in today's video we will be going to Olympic National Forest and Park. We will be discussing the disappearance of John Devine (73) who was hiking and camping in the Buckhorn Wilderness Area of Olympic National Forest in September of 1997. He was highly experienced and knew the area very well. Unfortunately during the time he went missing he only had a few snack bars and water with him as he planned only to be out for the day. During the search even more tragedy struck when a Bell 205 A-1 SAR helicopter crashed.


My thoughts and prayers go out to John, his family, friends and to ask the search and rescue members, especially those that that lost their lives or were injured in the tragic helicopter crash. Thank you for your service. We are eternally grateful 🙏🙏
