Join us Friday, August 13th for an old-school punk rock show and film screening featuring SoCal punk band No Advisory with local legends American Heavy Metal Weekend. Kicking off the show will be a screening of the short film "Rapid Life" Directed by Reed Langer and Produced by Mako Films, so don't be late! Film starts at 7PM sharp.
In the fall of 2006 some high school friends got together to play music. The agreed name of the group was No Advisory, within the first 6 months the band recorded 2 songs (before recording was as easy as today), got booked at Ventura Theater and some local benefit shows, got merch, and wrote many more new songs. 2 of the original members decided to leave the band to pursue other musical styles. No Advisory went through a few line up changes before becoming the unstoppable train it is today. Playing with acts such as Ten Foot Pole, Jughead's Revenge, and Guttermouth No Advisory has stood solid on the grounds of the punk scene.
