River Rejuvenation Project Impact: 25 rivers revived in Maharashtra

Описание: Over the past few decades, the Indian state of Maharashtra has undergone a drastic ecological transformation. With rivers drying up and drought-spell looming through large parts of the state, Maharashtra’s fragile ecosystem is in dire need of revival.

The Art of Living, along with local volunteers and experts, began the River Rejuvenation Project in 2013. Till date, 25 rivers and their tributaries have been revived in Maharashtra through numerous innovative and scientific methodologies.
