In this clip, the journey takes a trip along what used to be, in part, the old A361. The B3227 was the main route from Taunton to Barnstaple dozens of years ago but that has now been superseded by a much faster link road which is today's A361 - that road connects up to the M5 at J27.
The B3227 is a much more scenic route compared to the A361 and M5, and this is reflected by the road passing through the valleys and the road encroaching on Exmoor National Park.
