Even barely worn brakes and stuts will make a big difference in the handling. Tires? The previous owner was smart and opted for low-profile wheels in favor of more rubber. This tremendously helps offset some of the wear on the critical components of the car and it ever so slightly improves the ride quality. Even though the brakes are faded and the shocks are worn the car doesn't thrash around. The motor? This EVs motor has lost some of its torque so the range is reduced some.
