After getting sunburned from all of October through early November, we finally received the cold front we've been waiting for. We had a big weather system that pushed through that brought rain and COLD WEATHER! The water temps in the river were still sitting at 70 degrees in the middle of the day. Well, with lows dipping into the mid 40's, it brought the overall temp in the mid 50's. That huge swing has caused the Trout to migrate into the back creeks and begin to school up. These water temps in the mid 50's is typical for the time of year. If I had to guess, they're going to be behind a few weeks on their migration. The fact we're seeing this class of fish since mid-September has myself and every other angler on the coast anxious to see how awesome this season is going to be. Appreciate everyone watching and engaging. It means a lot to me. Keep the positive vibes coming. Tight lines everyone!!
