2005-2009 Ford Mustang subframe removal tutorial/reference video.
Removal was done on a 2007 4.0 V6 mustang however the 05-09 V8 4.6 subframe is identical aside from the positioning of the motor mounts. When doing a COYOTE swap on a V6 you'd need to use the 05-09 4.6 subframe, transmission, driveshaft, rear axle, ECU, and harness. Using an adapter harness from power by the hour, link the 4.6 harness to the COYOTE. I haven't done the swap personally but I have done enough research to know swapping in a coyote to a v6 is much more complicated than using the 4.6 3 valve as your platform. I hope this helps for those looking to swap or just needing a bent subframe replaced and don't know where to start !
