Today’s video covers how to write a football cv or how to write a soccer resume. A soccer resume or football CV is vital in order to market yourself to professional soccer teams, soccer agents or football agents and college coaches. Along with your soccer resume, you need to know how to make a soccer/football highlight video. Both are necessary when contacting pro soccer teams and contacting a soccer agent in order to take you seriously when attending soccer trials in the US or in Europe.

Players ask me all the time on how to get soccer contacts and how to find soccer contacts. One of the ways to get and find information is by sending your contact information like a resume to players and coaches that you already know who can help you. A soccer resume is a great way to market yourself as a player because it will list all of the relevant information. This is something you should attach in your email when contacting pro soccer teams and contacting a soccer agent.

This includes listing your contact information for them to reach back out to you if they’re interested, your prior playing experience whether it be with other professional soccer teams or college team, and your references that they can contact to gain more information about you as a player and ask questions to people that have seen you play before. Your football cv should also list your personal information like the passports you hold along with your height and weight that way they can evaluate if you are what they are looking for with their team.

What you should do as well when providing your contact information on your soccer resume is to also include a link to your soccer/ football highlight video that way they have all the information they need to evaluate your skills.
